A Slight Cheat= Not worth it!

So yesterday Dave had the whole day off, a rare for a weekend day. I was super excited to spend it with him and planned it for quite awhile. So far I have been really good and resisted temptations (Sangria at Dinner on Friday and the Bread Basket at Lunch with Mom at Cheesecake Factory on Saturday). Yesterday we went to lunch at Buffalo Wild Wings because Dave wanted wings. I had 3 (not really that much for wings). Well, let's just say my stomach was not too happy with me. Lesson Learned. Back on Track. Good news, I am down 4lbs!

Day 4....

well it is day 4 of South Beach and I am 2lbs down! So far it hasn't been too bad, I discovered Black Bean Soup from Stew Leonards, which has been my go-to lunch. For dinner on Thursday, I even made mashed "potatoes" but instead of potatoes, I used cauliflower. Dave even said they were delicious. I had my first "challenge" last night. Went to dinner with some friends to a Tapas restaurant in Stamford. But I did pretty good, no sangria, no wine, no bread! Well I did actually eat one tapa that was on a flat bread but it was only a piece.

so far so good!!

South Beach....Day 1

So today was day one on South Beach. Tough but manageable. yesterday was my last day of freedom, Boston Market (yummy Mac & Cheese!) and Wendy's (burger and fries). I am ready for the commitment, but that is probably because I have support! A few of the girls from work are also doing it and we started the same time. Good stuff. I am trying to stay on phase 1 for 3 weeks (up until I leave for vacation). Will be difficult but worth it!!

Getting back at it

Back in May I promised to get back on the weight loss train. Did I? no. But tomorrow is the big day, Day 1 of South Beach with my 2 friends from work. Hopefully with their support I can get back on the right track.
